It's not a time lapse
If I take more than one photo in a row, to make sure I get a good one, the app calls it a time lapse cluster and attempts to group them into a time lapse video. The problem with this is, I don't want it to be a stupid time lapse! I'd like my individual photos, and it won't even load them into the app because there aren't enough photos to be a time lapse..... ummmm yeah I know, because it's not a time lapse!
To use a phone with your camera
Get the Imaging Edge Mobile app!!!
Got a new sony camera and spent 2 hrs figuring out how to use it with my phone trying this app and searching online... nothing worked until I find the imaging edge mobile app idk why they dont update this info on the manuals that come with the camera or on the sony website but use that app it works.
It works
It works fine, but I think that the software is still behind GoPro's app. I chose the action cam because of the GPS information I can get, but unfortunately I cant use the app to view it. I have to use my laptop, which usually isn't with me when I'm using the camera. It would also be nice if I could use my Apple Watch as a remote instead having to use the massive and clunky Live View remote.
